I've been wanting to make a website for this for a while now. The weather is warming up. The cold, snowy April bullshit is finally going away. Last Summer, an experiment began. While searching for videos of pitchers throwing curveballs on YouTube, I stumbled across a video of a kid throwing a yellow wiffleball in his backyard. Astonished by the amount of bend that he was putting on his pitches, I read the description of the video. The product he was using was called a Blitzball. Twelve bucks and a few weeks later, my product came in the mail.
What ensued from that point on was pure joy. Pure, stupid joy. Throwing a pitch towards the plate and watching it break a full foot is hilarious the first time it happens. Watching fastballs curve upward make you sick to your stomach. Hearing that beautiful sound of the Blitzball hitting the metal on the chalkboard makes you a little hard. Connecting on a big, fat slider and putting it across the street makes you feel like a God. Describing the sport really doesn't do it any justice. It just has to be experienced.
It's almost here. Ice your shoulders and elbows now while you've got the chance.
